Our Team

Heather

Heather is the founder and lead planner of Carefree Events. She is a fifth generation Montanan who grew up in Europe. After graduating high school in Germany she moved back to beautiful Montana where she pursued a degree in Culture and Ethics. Heather has dedicated her career to providing exceptional customer service and making her clients visions become a reality. Heather’s high standards and personal attention have contributed to her client’s confidence and ease on their wedding day. She is distinguished by her ability to remain calm in stressful situations and for her keen eye for design. Heather feels so blessed to be part of such an important day in her couple’s lives.

When Heather isn’t planning, she is spending time with her amazing husband (Victor), two beautiful children, Dana and Beaudie, and her dog named Maui. She loves to dance, travel and float down the river on a warm summer day.

Sydney

Sydney is the Planning & Coordinating Assistant of Carefree Events. She was born and raised in Chandler, Arizona which is where she found a passion for weddings. She graduated from Northern Arizona University with a degree in public relations and business. After college, Sydney knew events was where she wanted to build a career, so she moved to Oregon and worked in weddings for a year before landing in Bozeman. Since working at Carefree Events, Sydney has worked hard to make couple’s wedding dreams come true. She is well-organized, communicative, and adaptive in every aspect of the wedding planning process. In her free time, Sydney is a thrill seeker and loves camping, hiking, and rafting. She is an avid skier in the winter and enjoys trying new breweries and places to eat around town.
